Thirty floors above Amarillo, at the top of the Chase Tower, Aileen Solis and Brayden Fauske watched more than 100 runners with a heart turn into the garage to begin climbing up the stairs so they can attend college in memory of Brandy Lee Leard, whose heart stopped beating at only 2 1/2 years of age.
